· Where I’m from
Braj is the land around Mathura and Vrindavan, and its heritage is spread across the whole region — barely documented online. In 2024 I wrote a proposal, won a grant for it, and led a team of four to build Mero Braj: a virtual museum of 100+ heritage sites, made for the phones most visitors carry.

Our first version mapped the sites and opened each one in 360°; merobraj.org now runs a lighter rebuild of it.
How Mero Braj works· The desk
Same desk, same books, same machine, oats and coffee. For an entire year nothing changed — and 2025 became the year I got started for real.
Each day runs off a task list written the evening before.
I stopped waiting for motivation and started showing up instead.
Data, boundaries, failure modes: the drawing becomes the plan, then the documentation.
· The work, and why
Every build starts as a drawing. This is devDocs v4, the documentation engine I’m rebuilding now: solid lines are built and tested, dashed ones are next.

planned“devdocs estimate” shows the requests and the cost first; “devdocs run” spends it, within a ceiling.
A gitignore-aware walk classifies every file; parsers read Python and five more languages.
plannedA zero-token score picks the files worth a model. The rest get accurate stubs from the parser.
Each job gets the cheapest capable model under a hard budget; cached answers make unchanged files free.
plannedRetrieval brings in the neighbouring code a prompt needs; one document model renders Markdown, HTML and PDF.
Because a one-day task on an undocumented codebase took a week.
